What is directional boring?
Directional boring (also called horizontal directional drilling, or HDD) installs pipe and conduit underground by steering a drill from an entry point to an exit point beneath the surface. Roads, driveways and yards in between aren’t trenched open.
How far can you bore?
We have no distance limitations — from short driveway crossings to projects spanning hundreds of feet.
What size pipe or conduit can you install?
Our equipment handles a maximum drilling diameter of 18 inches.
What kinds of lines do you install?
Water lines, sewer lines, gas lines, electrical conduit, communication conduit and drainage, including stormwater systems.
Will it tear up my yard or driveway?
Directional boring is minimally invasive by design: the work happens at the entry and exit points, and the surface in between stays in place.
