Directional boring and horizontal drilling
Directional boring is the cornerstone of what we do. It lets us install and repair underground utilities with minimal surface disruption — under driveways, roads, lawns and landscaping instead of through them.
- No distance limitations
- Maximum drilling diameter of 18 inches
- Minimal surface disruption
- Water, sewer, gas, electric and communication lines
How a directional bore works
A directional drill steers a drill head underground from an entry point to an exit point, following a planned path beneath whatever is on the surface. The bore is then opened up and the pipe or conduit is pulled back through it. Only the entry and exit points are disturbed — the driveway, road or yard in between stays where it is.
Short runs and long ones
Whether it’s a short crossing under a driveway or a complex project spanning hundreds of feet, our directional boring is built for precision and reliability. We have no distance limitations, and our equipment handles a maximum drilling diameter of 18 inches.
What we bore for
Water lines, sewer lines, gas lines, electrical conduit and communication conduit — for contractors, home builders, excavators, municipalities and private landowners.
